Unable to Access Microsoft Teams

Problem

Launching Microsoft Teams Desktop Application results in unknown error. 

Solution

Try this first. Clear the cache folder by following the steps below.
  1. Sign out of Teams > Quit Microsoft Teams by right clicking the icon and select Quit.
  2. On your keyboard, Hold Windows key and Press R
  3. Cut and paste %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams in the RUN then OK.
  4. Delete the contents of the entire folder.
  5. Restart Device > Restart Microsoft Teams > Sign In.
If the issue resurfaces, give this a try. In the Search bar of Windows type settings, hit enter
  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Accounts
  3. Click on Access work or school
  4. Please disconnect Your Organization email.
    1. Pop-up will appear, confirm your choice by clicking "yes". This step will not cause any data lost and is required in order to proceed. Wait for the account to be disconnected.
  5. Click on the Connect and type in your Organization email account to link your work account back.
  6. Restart your Teams Client.
