Group Policy Update (gpupdate)

Problem

You've been instructed to perform a gpupdate by SURVICE IT.

Solution

Follow these steps
If you are not onsite at a SURVICE location, you need to be connected to SURVICE's VPN before you begin.
  1. Launch Command (CMD) Prompt
    1. Go to Windows Start
    2. Type CMD
    3. Select Command Prompt application to launch
  2. Type gpupdate and hit Enter
    1. Wait for the script to run and return to CMD prompt
