Cannot Log Into Microsoft Teams | Error Code - caa5004b

Problem

After exiting/quitting Microsoft Teams the application will not sign user back into the application. Displaying the error below.


Solution

From a MS help article. Exit and Quit Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams applications.

  1. In the Search bar of Windows type settings, hit enter.


  2. Select Settings.


  3. Select Accounts.


  4. Select Access work or school.


  5. Select Work of School account.


  6. Disconnect Your Organization email.


    1. Pop-up will appear, confirm your choice by clicking "yes". This step will not cause any data lost and is required in order to proceed. Wait for the account to be disconnected.

  7. Select Connect and type in your Organization email account to link your work account back.

  8. Restart your Teams Client.
